  • Edelbrock Torker Manifold

I have a friend who has an Edelbrock Torker with the Holley 390 top. I was looking at the base and he said he thought it was a stock multi-port GM manifold. I didn't think it was because it didn't say "GM" on the underside, just a patent number.
If this is an Edelbrock manifold, are there significant gains in using this base? (see signature for my specs). Also, I would be using the TBI top and selling or trading the carb top. He wants $50 for both. There is no EGR flange.

The stock manifold bored out is better. Plus all the runners are the same. On the Edelbrock one side is smaller than the other.

Thanks, I thought it looked the same. No point getting that.

I agree,I think the stock bore manifold with a 4.3 tbi is as good or better than the Edelbrock. That's about all there is if you run a 4bbl,unless you can find a used offy manifold. I did see a diy made using the 2.8 or 3.1,3.4 base that was built like a highrise but that would require alum welding skills.
