I am new here to this site and just wanted to show off my ride.
Its an 87 fiero gt fastback.
Its midnight blue metalic with a touch of purple pearle.
The engine is a 3900 with deck hieght forged flat top fly notched pistons, "z" vin steel crank, forged rods, and a 25% over volume pump, with a high pressure sping.
It runs H.O. iron heads ported with .500 lift dual springs and roller rockers, it has roller lifters stock.
It is also twin turbo charged with twin intercoolers AND has N.O.S. on it.
It is mated to a 4-spd manual with 343.1 gears and a locker with timken bearings and a kevlar faced, solid steel backing clutch.
Both trans mounts are solid.
These are some other mods that I have done to it.
All work performed by me, no one else, this is what I do for a living, for real people.
Custom headers and pressure plenum for the 2 turbos. 1 5/8 primaries.
Custom 3.4 liter upper intake with a 3.1 grand am gt throttle body plate heli arced to the 3.4 upper to accept the throttle body off the 3.1.
Custom 3.4 rwd lower intake, turned around so the coolant is forced through the block and does not "short cut" out the front of the block.
Custom fiero fuel rail with gauge and corvette "holley" adj fuel pressure regulator and A flowed set of 24lb a hour injectors.
The fuel pump is a 92 and below 5.7 mpfi in tank holey unit with 225 lph flow.
Custom dual exhaust with cats, yes it has cats, and "muffler's"
It also has full custom intercooler housing with a remote oil cooler and remote oil filter built in.
The pcm is out of a 98 grand am GT and runs "coil packs" .
The pcm is controlled by a laptop with a usb to OBD2 data cable and a "special" program that interfaces with the stock gm pcm and lets me "reflash" at will any parameter that I wish.
It runs an external waste gate and blow off valve.
the intake side of the turbos breathes the air through the passenger side airfilter on the rear deck, then trough the mass air and into the turbos.
The filter on the drivers side is for the cooling fan that cools the external wastegate.
Theres a ton off other stuff I am forgetting, like the custom built interior with 13 bands of equalization per corner and 16 channels of amplification and a 15" cewin vega under the front hood that plays throught the hole in the firewall where the air and heater unit used to be, right into the interior.
Oh the wheels are 17x7 in the front with 215/45's and 18x8.5 in the rear with 275/45's
There is still a ton more...
I expect about 280/ 300 hp on the engine alone since it has about 10.5/ 1 compression with another 150/200 coming from the twin screws with the coolers.
The nitrous kit is a wet system with 2 N.O.S. jets located in the intake sides of the intercoolers to cool the coolers on the way through and a delay box that delays the "fogger nozzle" that has another N.O.S jet and a fuel jet set at the correct mix untill the 2 N.O.S. jets in the intercoolers hit the engine intake, good for about another 200 h.p.
Here are some pics of the vehicle.
I hope you enjoy these.
To see more of this car and other stuff I have built go to cardomain.com and type " powerdoctor " in the search field.
Remember this car is under construction, it will be done this summer and I will post video from the track.
