lol of course there forged, i dont think there is a custom piston maker out there that does cast or hyperutectic.. i looked

spending a few extra bucks to get away from 8.9:1 or whatever it is with the 3500 heads is worth it to me. more compression is more power and efficiency. it all adds up, i hate the feeling of "it could be a little better if"

Alxsmt, Can I ask a stupid question? I really dont mean to pis on your campfire or anything but if your truely happy (thus far) with J E Pistons, why do you still have "wiseco 10.5:1 pistons" in your sig line?

it was acually a little over $800 with rings and pins.

they are a LITTLE over sized because the block had a rough hone i guess.

i believe im the first one to run 10.5:1 compression on a 3400 with 3500 heads

I'm shooting for 230.... hrmmm.... One of use is gonna be off on that one... Hopefully you for your moneys sake... and for my sanity LOL I would expect more with a decent cam and that compression... I'm 9:1 or so, with my humungo cam...

But I really do need a 3500 upper intake to probably get the numbers I want to see.
