I just was playing with it alittle while ago is more like its flooding out trying to start it, if i hold the gas all the way to shut off the injectors and pump it will start it just takes a few seconds.Yea it needs to be tune badly .

I was going to do that to day but the weather is kinda nuts, one min to warm and sunny then it's snow like crazy couldn't see past 20feet then sunny then snow again, Crazy i tell you.

    Can do

I forget what lb/hr injectors the 97 3400's used. Using those until it's tuned would let it start and idle better. I think they were pretty close to what the 3100 was if not the same??? Do you own any tuning hardware (DHP, HPT?) right now? DHP is no longer being made but I'd go that route if you can find one used and download ALL the software and back it up cause DHP is unlimited on all your vehicles it will let you tune. And cheaper.

Yea it's been spitting snow here but very lightly. I got sick with the flu this week and missed out on the good weather. (but wasn't sick all cold winter lol)

Ok few questions, What did you do for the crank trigger? Why would you want to run with no maf? and how did you break a bunch of trans bolts or ears on the trans?

The OBDII writeup I did, which for some reason people love to rip apart, was written up in a way that someone could acquire a 96 Engine bay harness do the 3 wire modifications to it WHILE their car was still on the street and then take a few hours one day and swap harnesses, rather than spending a full day repining plugs, running new wires for the maf and who knows what else. Also my whole swap is 100% stock so everything drops into place and is a little cleaner to say the least.

I was second to Erich to do a OBDII swap on a 95 vehicle, and he never got anything and I get a rash of crap for my method, yet his method included swapping out every wire in the car...

I wouldn't drive that car much until you get it tuned, running injectors that big on a a ECM that thinks they are 19lb/hr and running no maf will equal bad results.

I am using the external crank trigger mount from the store, I am going to ran a MAF at first i was not goint to but i am ,It must of not be lined up completely and be 0degrees out did help either. Since i not run the EGR i was thinking of using the EGR wires for the MAF and just pin those in to the MAF of the ECM, BUt i need to check on some things before i do that.

Im not ripping on you method or how-to or any one else's,Cause you got some pretty damn good how-to's. I just went for the easiest way to swap to OBDII in to my car, for me after tracing the circuits it only took about 1 1/2 2 hours to have it in the car and running.

Ya right now i have 22lbs in there, thats way i don't drive it, i just took it out to make sure the tranny shifted and everything worked. I drive my scion that get 40+MPG to work and what not till i get the corsica all worked out and done.

I'm not pointing the finger at you directly, its just I did a how to on rear disc brakes, and also provided the brackets, but then everyone else just tried to find another way to do them... same with the OBDII swap, except for the 3 harnesses I modified and shipped out for some others. Also same deal with the headers I did, I didn't do a write up on that but I posted before and after pics with a general idea of what has to change. Just seems like a lot of people look at me like I'm crazy for taking the non hack job way (no rag on you) I tried the whole re-pinning deal but I was trying to go to a chip style 4t60e ecm rather than OBDII.

No offence take in. I thought that your rear disc brakes how-to awesome and plan on doing that to the corscia. With all these swaps and how-to's someone is always ripping someones shit apart, If it sound like i was i'm sorry i was not. I was wanting to let people know that another 3500 and a OBDII swap done and how i was going about doing mine swap.

I am curious to see what a stock 3500 on a 4t60e will do in the 1/4 mile if you get it there with the auto some time... That would give better comparison vs Erics 3t40 setup he has going on.

Jon your way works and is proven. I would do your way if it came down to an engine swap but if I could just re-pin the ECM wires without having to get dirty under the hood I would go that route. LOL It *seems* like a lot of work to pull the whole harness even though it really isn't. But less parts you gotta grab from the junkyard is always nice though hehe.

I'm anxious for issues to get done with all the wiring and report what does and doesn't all work, and if any extra steps are needed (run more wires, etc). There's more than one way to skin a cat and its always interesting to at least watch! LOL
