    3500 lifter questions

    is the plunger suposed to move around when you shake the lifter?

    is it supposed to be fairly hard to move the piston inside (lifter not pumped up and dry-no oil)?

    are my lifters screwed?

    can i use 3400 lifters (the dealer couldnt help here)
    3500, 1280 cam and PR, ls6 valve springs, port and polished heads, ported lim, ported uim, 4.3 70mm tb, ported trueleo headers and y pipe ALL FOR SALE (minus the car)
    96 LT4 6spd corvette. 355, AI 215cc LT4 Comp CNC Heads, Prope SRS pistons, Ported intake, ARH long tubes, Corsa Indy Pace 4:10 gears

    They shouldn't rattle, and AFAIK the 3400 lifters are identical.

        the spring isn't that hard to push down but the piston shouldn't rattle around at all, it's a very tight fit.

        3400 lifters are identical to 3500 lifters. I've had both apart this weekend.
