Has anyone else used the newer style injectors with Gen II fuel rails? I am running GM #25323971 injectors in the race engine that I am finishing assembly of. A buddy of mine helped splice the proper injector wiring clips onto my Gen II wiring harness so at least the wiring should be "plug and play." I have a question about the fit of the injectors in the fuel rails though. The original injectors each had a metal clip that held them snuggly to the rail. Due to the shape of the new injectors, these clips won't fit them. Is there a different style of clip used for the newer injectors? If so, does anyone have a part number, or even better yet, six clips that they would be willing to sell me? Help will be much appreciated as always!

If noone has these, I would appreciate knowing what year and model these injectors are from. I believe them to be 3100 around 2000. That way I can contact the dealer to order them. Thank you!Joe Morgan

Thank you for the info! They do show my exact injector on the site. They list them as 11.8 ohms, 200cc@3 bar. I assume that translates to the 22 lbs/hr @ 55 psi that you mentioned.
Still seeking info about the injector retaining clips though. Do the 3X00 engines use them? I will check with the dealer just to be sure too, and order them if they do.Joe Morgan

i dont know if you have any junkyards around you but you could prob go there and get enough clips and have spares for the cost of what they charge you to get in the yard.
i dont know what the dealer charges for them but thats another option.sigpic

Dealer cost isn't really that bad, only $10.06 for the set of 6. I couldn't save enough to justify the trip to the salvage yard, or the time it would take to pull them.
Thank you for all the excellent info!Joe Morgan

I just got back from the dealer with the clips. They are slightly different from the ones in your picture, but they work perfectly. The parts guy said they are correct for 2001-2005. You actually get a packet of 8 of them (they must be the same for some V-8 application too), for $10.06 + tax. They are GM part #17113670 in case anyone else needs to buy them too. Thanks again for all the help!Joe Morgan
