  • Build help PLEASE

I will begin building my 3400/3500 boosted hybrid very soon.

Is there a book, manual(Chiltans or otherwise, that will help so I dont forget something 60 degree V6 gen 3 specific. You guys have to be using something other than the forum and memory. I know experiance has a lot to do with it as well but untill I post up some I need some literary help.

    Thanks in advance

    Cheers

    Chris

There are torque specs here somewhere, check the links on the side they keep changing so I'm not sure if that's how to get to them or not.

Also a chiltons/etc will help some too with torque specs and such. They have sections for rebuilding the motors.

Nope, we all do it from memory, and the forum.

Seriously, I buy GM service manuals off of ebay that either cover the entire car, or I will get one for the specific engine I am working on. The GM books are good because they tend to have more detail, better pics, and diagrams, you can get them for cheap, and they will not have a lot of useless stuff that might not pertain to other years and not your own engine.

There is always AllData, which is basically an electronic version of the factory service manual.
