Either your camera makes it sound better, or it sounds awesome. It sounds like there isn't much high pitched rasp with that chambered muffler. I like how chambered mufflers sound on 60*'s at idle, but not WOT.

Newest idle vid with my Canon camera... Sounds mucho better on this camera. I noticed it also makes it sound a little more pingy than it is in person... But it sounds sweet.

I've been driving it a bit here and there and I know I need to do my accumulator shims... 2-3 is a very soft shift with the stall converter and 1-2 is nothing to write home about.

Pulls like a mofo up top, and with 3.69 gearing it pulls in 4th easily getting it up to 125 quickly, where you have your life flash before your eyes before you realize that 125mph is TOOOOOO fast for a Beretta. She'll be limited at 115 or 120 if that when I start tuning.

Already had to raise the top of the maf table to make up for a lack of fuel up top but other than that she is performing very well.

Hell I'll limit the thing at 65mph if I ever have to drop it off somewhere for work such as alignment or other random stuff... I may limit the thing to 35mph and 4500RPM when I drop it off for tint... LOL

LOL good call on the "valet mode". IIRC way back heavywoody was getting tires somewhere and heard them revving the piss out of his car. I would be whooping up on some punks myself if I heard that.

I can't wait for you to get a dyno or 1/4mile times.

With the 3500 head do you still get .040" quench? I know compression is lower but just wondering if quench is affected or not.

So I guess the point the beretta gets unstable is after 100mph eh? Was the front end floating?

Ass end was floating, I think that can be taken care of with the rear sway bar and the spoiler addition but either way the car felt funny. Oh and the front end being loose or able to turn easy due to the lack of a LSD in the trans also made it seem like you could EASILY over correct and kill yourself.

I know nothing about quench... so don't ask me that question.

Actually I just looked it up... the quench is the thickness of a stock GM 3400 headgasket and whatever the deck height of a stock 3400 is... which I have no clue on either one of those numbers.. The compression only changes because the CC of the cylinder head is a little bit more, so I guess you could say no the quench doesn't change since I didn't touch the block or pistons.

But I thought the 3500 pistons came out of the deck at a different height than the 3400. Hmm.

The front felt funny because of lack of STB. I can almost guarantee that. It's amazing how much the strut towers flex without it.

Well whats the quench on a 3400 then? Because thats what mine is...

and yeah I have a fresh painted STB in the basement ready to go in.

Latest update is in the transmissions section... I broke the trans by lack of attention when I was putting in my spare diff...

I also ordered Phenolic spacers, TB adapter, and a 3500 upper plenum... Time to get all the power I can out of this bish!

IMO rubber/poly is great setup. It doesn't give you any vibration like straight poly but still cuts way down on movement. I guess solid rubber would work too without the air spaces but the stock mounts are not designed that way.

What do you have a server for? But yeah that will help it. I put my "coaster" over the top of my 17" CRT

How many miles were on pink when you got it? I have the original trans mount in mine still. I think I remember seeing the rubber "spilling over" the metal in mine from sagging. LOL
