  • Oil Pan and timing cover

Just a quick verify, but my 3100 Oil pan and timing cover are a direct bolt on to my 3400 if I am not mistaken. Feel free to chime in.

Also both typical things to swap over to some 3400's when doing car specific swaps... I know I want to put a 3100 pan on my 04 3400 because then my A/C compressor will bolt to it and I'll have a low oil sensor again!

Depending on the car the motor was in, the Timing Cover could have some small differences. Like the Timing Cover from a grand am, youll have to grind off the tab for a pulley to use in a W

timing covers from a 3400 W- will not need to be modified to work in an older style W

i did a Monte carlo 3400 engine to a 94 grand prix. the covers were interchangable

didnt have to anything except swap over a few pulleys, the flat for the ribbed pulley.

this was with the 05 3400 from the imapala into my 99 grand am.
