Cool You have the new style MAP already, and the vacuum nipple in question isn't used on your car. Looks like you have the easiest setup to do the swap.

Oh wow I didn't know they switched to the new style MAP on the 3400's. That will plug right into the 3500 plenum. All you need is a bracket to hold it in, which can be made very simply by bending an L shape and drilling a hole in some metal strapping found on shipping crates/boxes. You will need a rubber ribbed grommet for the MAP though as it plugs directly into the 3500 plenum.

For vacuum if your 3500 plenum has the alternator/brake booster area nipple installed you can run a line from that to the FPR or to your vaccumball/accessories. Then there is another spot on the 3500 that if you get a 1/4 NPT tap you can tap that and screw in a 1/4" NPT barbed fitting and run another vacuum off of that.. It's by the EGR. It's either the IAC or Evap hole, not sure which it is. Or you can T off to the vaccum ball and FPR from either source. I don't know where you get your vacuum for the vacuum ball.. Does it T off of the Evap or MAP area?

For your Evap it may have to be routed somewhere else or just dangle and zip tied up where it's at.

As Ben said, not much extra to mess with on your car. Although the other stuff I did didn't take long at all for mine.

BTW you are missing the oil cap :P And it looks like the brake booster hose clamp was taken off as there's a depression where one was...

Ben: You can see from the pics how the MAP sensor is wired. Orange is GND, Green is OUT, and Gray is 5V. I think the same color wires are the same on the older connector except GND is not orange...

Issac, the oil cap is off cuz I took my 3400 cover off, and it's attached to the extension that goes through the cover.

Oh, and wouldn't you guess it, I broke the rear tab off the cover today, the one that holds it down. Damn thing must have been brittle from the cold.

It really makes me happy that you know it's gonna be pretty easy, that relieves a lot of stress for me.
