  • Very nice looking engine, clean as hell too. What car is it going in to? CNCguy, if you do decide to make some caps for sale to the general public they would sell like hot cakes. Those puppies are gorgeuos! I would be in for 2 plain caps, plus I know a bunch of people who would jump at them in a heartbeat.

    14.60 @ 96.33 for now...

    • The engine will be transplanted into a 1967 spitfire MKIII. In front of a T-5 from an '88 camaro 2.8L.

      • To bring this topic back from the dead and hopefully alittle back on topic...

        I finally closed on my house yesterday, so I finally have all my tools back and a place to work on the car/engine/misc projects. Only issue is, it'll still be alittle while before I get a chance to do it. We have just under a month until we have to move into the house, and in that time, we are basically gutting it and redoing it. It originally had wood panelling throughout, so all that is coming down and sheetrock is going up. So I'll be busy with the house for the next few weeks. But after that, I can devote some time to the plenum. Its been almost a year since I've done anything with it anyway! In that time, I've had a few more thoughts about what I want to do, how I can change the design some, etc...

        Hey Marc, did you ever redesign the flanges? If so, we need to talk.

          I have it part of the way done in CAD but have a few changes to make. I just have not had time for the doing automotive stuff lately. With work, kids, my girlfriend and my trip, I just have not had the time for playing. I need to get the new flanges made so I can finish my intake as well. An UIM made from composites is still dancing around in my head.
          Too many ideas/projects and not enough time/money.

          BTW... Good luck with your remodeling.

            Did these sometime last year after you got me the CMM data from the lower manifold.
