      • Decided to bring this topic back up (for a few days) since I just recieved more parts for the plenum from Marc.

This will allow me to mount my 62mm (and up to 66mm) TB to the 4" tube that will help form the main plenum area. Too bad I can't work on it right now since I'm stuck in an apartment. Maybe in a few months I'll get started back up again and start to make some progress on it.

          • I had just started a movie for my daughter (see cute pictures above) and her friend from downstairs... So that would be the TV and the start of Toy Story 2.

I have not made any progress on mine either. Between work, divorce, women and other projects, I have not had much time to devote to it. And perhaps I get too distracted as I am now working on a new design to make the UIM from carbon fiber. If it goes well, I may start to market them.

I jump around too much really and have way too many unfinished projects. On Sunday I decided to make some billet Oil Fill Caps. This is what they look like.

The problem is they look so nice it makes the motor look really bad.

I know... its only a 3100 in the pic. I engraved it for the next motor. I will use one of the blank ones until I get the other motor finished.

                      • Wow, this whole thread has a lot of really exciting ideas in it. I just wish I had the necessary tools to tackle something like this. Plus, those oil caps look amazing. CNCguy, any chance of a 3.1 cap? I'd gladly send you a cap for reference and whatever else you needed.

                        14.60 @ 96.33 for now...

Thanks for the props. I have a 3.1 cap that I just measured from my sons car and made a print from it. Perhaps we can make some up within the next week or so. I will let everyone know if they work out ok. I am going to start a thread about Billet Oil Caps so keep an eye out for it. I did not mean to hijack Brads thread. Sorry Brad.

                          • You should make Fiero V-cover caps since no one makes a replacement anymore. I got 1 of 3 left in Canada a year or so ago.
