Anyone using a 4.3 tbi on there 660 ironhead,does it run on the rich side ? I notice that the inj for a 4.3 are rated 45 lb/hr and the 5.0 are 40 lb/hr;thought the 40 lb/hr inj might improve mileage and performance.

Yes it will run rich. Very rich on a 2.8L. Depending on engine size and power output you can select from 2.8L injectors or 4.3L injectors. I use 4.3L injectors on my 3.4L and it works quite well and is only slightly rich on cold idle. 5.0L injectors are NOT 40lbs/h they are 50lbs/h1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma
