  • Go Team Green?

Some of you know I have been waiting for 3 months now to the day for my LSD from Engineered Performance! So I'm considering telling Jeff I want a refund and go with a Team Green LSD. Anyone have reviews good and or bad? Looking for as much info that's out there about them. Thanks all!

I have one in my HM282, i took it out the other day to inspect and it's holding up great, hardly even a scratch. It'll be going back in for '08.

It's not a full LSD. It's just the spring loaded insert that goes inside of your differential. No clutches involved. It's actually similar to a Phantom Grip, but at a much better price.

ahh haaa, thought so! so if i only want to spend money once and install once, i should stay with EP's true LSD?

Dave, how well does that insert work? Good as a true LSD? You have pictures of the insert? How many miles are on it?

weren't you behind me the day i did that 200' burnout at the bash?

I'll grab pics tonight, i put a very hard 800 miles on it last summer and it helped out alot with the torque steer. It is similar in design to the phantom grip unit but uses MUCH stronger 900lb springs. It is actually steel as well, not aluminium.

To keep cost down. That's why it's $200 vs $600+.
I think the differential has to be modified to put the clutches in too. And with a clutched LSD, you need to do clutch adjustments too.

If you want the full meal deal, cough up $1500 for a Torsen gear type LSD. No adjustments, no clutches to wear out, it'll last forever.

I just wanted to let everyone reading this that I just got word from Jeff at EP and he says he just got enough parts in to build 23 diff's so I would say its safe to assume that if you had one on order from him it should be sent out to you in the near future if it hasnt already been shipped...
