    Not sure when the EGR opens up, if even at idle. I will add the EGR solenoid bitmasks to my scanning definition and play back some logs to find out.

      I'm sticking with mine when i do my top end swap just cause were i live I have to get tested every other year, I hear turbo is susposed to help emissions but never seen any real proof of it.

        i left the egr and pipe attached on mine i just cut out a peice of sheet metal in the shape of the gasket and bolted it in place with the gasket. and turned off the light in DHP.

        so the hole is sealed up and when i go for inspection everything is there.
