1st on my car goes up to 46mph 
Really, 1st isn't that bad, it's 2nd that is when the car is a dog unless it is shifting into it from a WOT run in 1st. If you are in 2nd and past 35mph it will stay in 2nd and bog. Well it's not so bad on my car now, but stock it sure did suck ass!
I get what you're saying. I was saying the same thing basically. If you want to downshift into 2nd you can't do it at 70mph like stock was (have to do it at a slower speed). That's all.
