I have a question for you guys who swapped to a 3500. How hard is it and how much did it cost? I ask because I actually found a 3500 with 11000 miles on it for $750, and this may be a good option for a swap if I was to do one. Its actually a better deal because none of the 3400s in a comparable price range are even close to that low mileage. Just depends on where the damage on the car is.

Edit: Isaac, your thread on the 3500 upper, would that contain everything special for a 3500 swap, or are there other items?

for the 3500 you'll need the external CPS form the store here. $130 i think??? also the adapter from the TB opening, since the electronic 3500 tb wont work, that's $60, and you can either use a stock 3x00 TB, or a 65mm one from here, which is another $240. so add $200-450 on top of the price of the motor, JUST for those 3 things.......

I forgot about that 3500 swap thread. Anyway, I know I was planning on getting a 65mm TB anyway, because I was probably going to port everything anyway before I put the engine in. As for the rest, well I'm not sure about that added costs, but at this point I have yet to find a decent 3400 for a similar price, most have similar mileage to the 3100 I have.
