two questions... first, how long have you been a male prostitute? second, how many dollars per horsepower did you spend. The bills not actually that bad for people who know how to save money.

      HOLY F-ING CHIT!

I think I'll be happy with my $400 engine, $150 valve job, $650 valve train and then my own custom porting and polishing...

Thats an insane amount of money to spend on a 60* V6... this thing better put out WAY more power than mine and handle a 200 shot with out flinching...

        (5300 divided by your HP)

anyways, i hope you enjoy it, you undoubtedly spent many cold nights out on that block workin it.

That 5300 doesn't including the money I spent for the cam + street/strip heads and valvetrain. Plus ported manifolds and 65mm Tb.

I know its a lot of money but I just wanted to see what the 3400 was really capible of. Its obvious I could of that money on another powerplant and made more hp per $ but then I would be just like everybody else. Only thing that wasn't replaced was the flexplate.

And not only that, i had everything built to brand new. So that this engine will last me for many many many many years to come. I plan to keep this car forever and I want it to drive forever.

          Thanks

I could only imagine what my motor would have cost sourcing out. It's nice having your own machine shop

Corey went above and beyond quality, thjough. All the balancing/matching is time consuming. At $45-100/hr for a machine shop to handle these things adds up fast.

could have done a low mileage long block and thrown a turbo on for that and make more power couldn't ya?

+1 Then put whatever $ left over into a built trans.

If I wanted a turbo then I would of gone that route.

It would of been great if you guys said, "you should've done a L67 swap instead"

You should have just bought a fiero.

Yeah, me too. Neither of us has a fiero though so I guess we came to similar conclusions:P

If I wanted your GP to catch fire and sound like ass I would have said so!
