Well since I had to abandon my turbo setup due to money issues Im going to get nitrous for now to satisfy my speed hunger

I was wondering whats the bigest shot I can run safely. I already plan to get a wet shot and know how to deal with nitrous just want to know the motor can do. I know of some being done on 100shot but i want more if I can

motor is a 3400/3500 hybrid with the 1393 cam from the store here. Bottom end is stock with 34k and i have a DHP tuner any more info just ask

Im running a 75 shot right now. Nitrous Express recomends a maximum of 20 horse per cylinder on a stock engine... so it looks like a 120 hp shot is the most that they recomend. I myself am probably going to go to a 100 shot for the spring

Ive got a 75 wet shot right now, and I wouldnt go any more than that on a stock transmission or bottom end. My car only has about 53k on it, and the trans line pressure needed to be jacked up even more than it already was to get it to shift at WOT. Be sure to have a way to pull timing when you spray. What I did for timing was wired up a switch to turn off the IAT sensor (as if it were unplugged) When its unplugged the default IAT temperature goes to a certain value. Just go into your power tuner and adjust the amount of timing to pull in that particular cell of that table. If you got a two stage window switch, you could even hook the second stage to a relay to cut the power to the IAT at whatever RPM range you wanted. Just my .02 If you want a good deal on a nitrous kit, check out www.dynotunenitrous.com Ive got the wet kit, two stage window switch w/ tps activation, and automatic bottle heater. Its damn good quality as well.
