I do not have a definite timetable but can say that they are at the gear cutter now. Afterwards, they have to go to heat treat and EDM.

Here are two vids, the first one is my 15k mile daily driven Milzy stage 1 LS6 timing chain, and the second one is the extra 00+ chain I got from either the 3400 or the 3500 that only had 4k on it, stock obviously. BUT remember the chain I also used had 4k of stock time on it to begin with... so compare the difference and thats how much MORE mine stretched.

These were both installed on the same motor for comparison... sorry the second vid is sideways.

          15k Hybrid chain

Yeah thats about what I was expecting with that chain LS6 springs and 15k miles of daily driving on it. That didn't surprise me, but the bronze pump gear did... then again I didnt know it was supposed to wear off like that so quick.

Thats just the old pre 00 timing chain, I bet that was a pre 2000 motor... actually, it is because you can tell by the injectors.

I ran that on my stock 3400 back when I built it... It has slack at 60k, how much I'm not sure since I never checked, but you can hear it slap the guide when you go back and forth with the crank.

got closeup pics of my '98 chain that came in today.. VS the '04 3500 chain.

the older chain has larger link spacing, larger links and larger pins, seems alot beefier.

Morse makes both chains, here is a link to the product description..

I tried to contact them today but after waiting 30 minutes on hold i gave up.. lol

yeah i noticed that when i swapped them out on mine. definately beefy

the 98 chain is like a 1/4 thicker.

haha you waited 25 minutes longer than i would have waited

Dave....why were you trying yo contact them if you have already prchased this and does this chain require a diffent set of upper and lower sprokets? Also will the timing cover need to be modified to accept this chain?
