try boosted and stroked 3500..... i think i might be able to make it there, if i can get the trans and axles to hold together as i said before
You dont need a 3500 or a stroker to get there with boost. Midnightriderz24 has gone 12.2's on a completely stock bottom end IIRC. Who has pushed the limits of one of these motors on boost? Ive yet to see or hear of anyone pushing 20lbs of boost on a 60*... Schweppe from GAGT is running 12.8s on 9lbs of boost. Pump that up to 20lbs and I dont see why he couldnt hit 11s. As it has been said many times, and you have noted as well, on the N body platform the transmission is the weakest link.
2006 AWD TBSS 12.538 @ 106.92 1.66 60' Bolt-ons only
well my stock bottom end got scattered across the highway.... so far im $100 into this with the block and crank and i still haven't sold my 3500 cam or timing cover
its not just about all out power though... its about usable power, with this i'll still be able to drive it everyday on pump gas and then go to the track and dial it up a lil bit... this should have killer torque too
Didn't sound like you slipped the clutch at all. That's as hard as you can launch with you setup?
I've practiced launching in my old Mitsu and could keep the tach at almost a perfect 3500RPM (powerband) through the entire launch with the street tires only making a slight scrubbing noise.

I believe you could drop your 60' a little more.
with that stage 3 clutch it's pretty hard to slip it... I've tried at the track and it never really worked out.
