    i have iroc rims..they r 16 inch...what kind of tires can i use to get grip....i welded the spider gears in it..so i have full posi...but i want it to get grip in rain also..oh yea...stall...where do i get them at?

      you have a RWD car... grip in the rain is known as throttle control

      hell, even my malibu would readily spin the tires in the rain....

        but what tires will grip on dry pavement???I know u have to massage the gas in the rain..

          unless you wanna go with stickys or a drag radial's you wont find a short sidewall tire that hooks up.. with 4:11's u should be able to pull 1.9 60 foot's spinning..

              yep, those should help quite some bit.. me and my budds just have a seperate set of tires on 2 rims for racing.. then we just use race leagal tires, and change them out when the time comes.

                  drag radials aren't worth it unless its class mandated, both ways your comprimising, you dont get good street (wet) traction (they're pretty much useless) and your dont get as good drag traction

                      have one built.. take ur one to a tranny shop..they should be able to change it for u.

                        so i can get another stall from a v-6 that was hooked up to a th 700r4 and they cam make me a stall out of it????hum good idea...how big of stall?I'
                        m thinking 3500?

                            do you drive the car on the street at all? how does it corner with the spider gears welded??

                              lol well it's a street car..i'm fixin to get 4.10 with clutch in the rearend..b/c welding the spider gear is well...stupid on my part..b/c if i get hard on the car..the weld can break and screw up the ring gear..driving...it's a challange to say the least..if you go to wal-mart or a dept store that is busy.u better know how to drive b/c u can't make corners like you did when u had open diff or limited slip

                                i have a question....the th 700r4 that is hooked up to my 3.1...autozone and other part stores told me i can put a v8 in it and use that trans...
