i have a question...I'm wantin to put some 1.6 rocker arms on my 3.1..i'm low on cash so can u tell me what engine came with 1.6 rockers???And also..i'm gonna nos it also..is 100 hp good or not??engine has 94,000 miles on it..

You can get new rockers from Summit Racing for like $150 +shipping. I believe that the 3X00 engines came with them stock. I am not sure if they will work on the ironheads though.

You bet they fit the iron heads.. they came in 96 olny I beleive.. Im sure I got mine out of a 96 G.A. and as for " Nossing it" LOL, If there's sufficiant fuel you should be able to rock as much as a 175-200 shot.. but to be safe ,stick with the 100..

~94-95 3100's had stamped ball and pivot rockers that were 1.6. In 96+ (most 96 that is) had roller fulcrum and are still 1.6.

I'm wanting to make my car at least a 14 second car..
i figure 4.10 gears...1.6 rocker arms...headers...nitroius..and prolly a 2500 stall and a good cam..and under drive pully...i might make it..i really don't want to put in a v-8 just b/c i heard it's a lot of work

im runnin a 75 shot, and thats rockin pretty hard right now. You wont be disappointed.. i have put higher ratio rockers into cars before and only have seen minimal gains.. Just my opinon, you might get more from it

Using my 180 side I stayed rite beside an 11.3ET 911 carerra and I have everything you said.. Olny I have 3.73's and a 5-speed.. On the 100 side I wiped out a stroked 302 Mustang by about 10 lenths.. so I would put money on 14's or better..

It was around 2550 including me and the passenger.. Thats olny 500 off of a stock camaro.. So it would be about a half second slower

If you use N2O I would strongly suggest Headers and exhast like you stated earlier.. Then you would be 14's

Yes...you should get 14s witht that...........100 shot alone is most of the gain.
