yeah, theoretically speaking it's a great engine, but marine and automotive are two different worlds.

I'm just wondering why we always get into these discussions whenever a Falconer engine comes up. Its not like anything has changed since the last time we talked about them....

Well I for one never knew of this engine, let alone ever seen a 60 deg push rod done up so radicly. So you'll have to pardon my dust. Pics would be nice for te gallery.

This isn't the 700 or 750 twin turbo RFRE race motor? Forged destroked crank, i forget the rods, carrera? It may come to me. Dunno compression or how much boost or the cam specs. Im sure its pretty top end friendly Wish I knew where I saw the info before. May be from a magazine? I know, I'm not much help but I thought you knew about it. That or this is a completely different twin turbo RFRE engine. Dry sump?

If you do a search on here for RFRE and/or Falconer, you will find posts dating back to 2004. Back in 2005, the was at least 1 guy who had bought some parts from RFRE (like the ITB manifold) and was selling them. You might try to get ahold of one of those guys to get some better contact information.

Sweet. I wonder if the museum would let me borrow that for some testing.

                        anymore info on this?

The new Z06 exposes European sports cars for what they really are....overprice, underperforming snobs.

Haha, Usually, all I have to is drag race them, and then drive my car home on pump 91, while getting high 20's MPG. Works better than showing a pic of some engine that apparently, might have ran once, maybe.
