looking for 3500 cam regrind

    Yes, you can run the newer injectors. If you can find a set from a L67 (3800 S/C) they are 36#@ 55PSI.. I'd run the older 43PSI FPR so they'll be around 32#. It's an easy change if you start to max them out.

    you'll also need to snag a fuel rail from a 3100 or 3400.
    Actually its closer to 38 lbs/hr @ 55 PSI when using ZZP's spec(34.28 lbs/hr @ 45 psi). But either way it should still be plenty of fuel for a 1280 or 1617 cam with a little room left over for some nitrous help.

      Sappy, the 1529 cam is similar to Superdaves but with more lift. Can it be ground with slightly less lift? Maybe about .58?

        Personally if you are going for all out power then the 1386 should scream, idle like hell and work out very well with the ported heads and headers.

        However if you plan on driving it every day the 1280 or 1617 will be a better choice. The difference in overall power is hardly noticable. It's still going to lope with either cam.. If you really want it to lope then just advance the spark timing at idle to around 30 degrees..

        1280 sounds good....well see how long it takes for me to change my mind again

          You can change the LSA and ICL but not the lift or duration.

            which is better for the 3500, more lift or more duration? im stuck between 1617 and 1280. they look very close...whats the pwer look like on these?

              To reduce the 1529 lift, are 1.50 or 1.55 lifters available.

                    i just tried to fit my old injectors on the 3500 rail and lim, no where close to what it needs to be. any advice on how to make it fit or am i just going to have to get different injectors?
