                  mine are from a Syclone/Typhoon turbo 4.3.. they're 32# @ 43PSI and 36# @ 55PSI

Yes, you can run the newer injectors. If you can find a set from a L67 (3800 S/C) they are 36#@ 55PSI.. I'd run the older 43PSI FPR so they'll be around 32#. It's an easy change if you start to max them out.

you'll also need to snag a fuel rail from a 3100 or 3400.

                    got the fuel rail.

the newer 3500 injectors are rated at 55psi, and my 24lb injectors are rated at 38psi
with that said, what psi is the 2003 fuel rails' regulator?

what size injectors does the 3500 have, and what will i need?
oops...i meant 1617. can i get more lift with your grinds ben? i was hoping for a little more lift, but that duration, icl and overlap seems good all together. wanting about .525 intake and .535 exhaust

                        Should be 55 PSI.

I cannot change any lobe specs. If you see another lobe (intake or exhaust on any other cam) with the lift and duration you want, then you can use it. .020 isn't a huge difference really.

The 1386 with 114 LSA and 109 ICL looks like it might work out better for you dave, idle wise and power wise. If you want a top end power cam, thats one of the best I have seen so far.

1617 isn't as powerful but with 113 ICL and 114 LSA, it wakes up a little bit more than the spec on the grind, and idle should be pretty good as well with 44 degrees overlap.

                                I don't need a new cam

                                I'm confused.. the 1386 has a 106ICL and 110 LSA.. the 1617 has a 107 ICL and 111 LSA.

Personally if you are going for all out power then the 1386 should scream, idle like hell and work out very well with the ported heads and headers.

However if you plan on driving it every day the 1280 or 1617 will be a better choice. The difference in overall power is hardly noticable. It's still going to lope with either cam.. If you really want it to lope then just advance the spark timing at idle to around 30 degrees..
