I did the same, but at Discount (I know, I know - but I haven't seen cheaper Felpro's anywhere), asked for 1991 2.2 Cavi seals. They were $13 or $15 for a set of 8 (4int/4exh), IIRC they came to $27 for both packs. I didn't mind getting extras since I have a bunch of heads that are going on various cars. 3 packs of seals is enough to do 2 set of heads .

Rock Auto has the 2.2 Cavi Exh in a Sealed Power # ST2090 is that a good number for the seals. Dave said to use the exhaust seals on all the valves for the 3500 heads yes?
The felpro set # I get is SS70816 but that is for Int and Exh................is that a good # as well?

            Thanks

SS70816 is what I got, but if you can buy them individual, you won't waste any.

Why do you run exhaust seals on all the valves? I picked up those valve seals and got the int. exh. They are cheap enough you could pick up a few extra incase anything happens, but its doubtful that it will

Thats what I am asking as well........and it may be a stupid question.......but I'm gonna anyway..........why not use 3500 valve seals....is it the sprins /seat combo that lends the need for a "creative way to seal the valve stem?

The LS6 springs don't fit over the 3500 seats, so you have to use something to protect the aluminum from the bottom of the steel spring. Now the 3500 seals don't work because you'll just have a post sticking up (3500 seals go inside the tall seat).

so if i used the intake seals on the intake and exhaust seals on the exhaust then there wont be a problem? i did that thinking that people were just buying the ex seals cause they were cheaper or something.

I just remember someone a few years ago saying to use the exhaust seals on all 12.. I've never had the intake seals to test fit. Maybe this time around i'll pick up some of both...

the intake seals seem tighter on the valves....

So has there been a turn to using the intakes on the intakes and the exhaust on exhaust for the 1991, 2.2 Cavi seals? Or is just gonna be a trial and error?Or just personal feel for the fit?.I guess no one is arguing that they arnt better that than the Mopars?
