So the flanges are made to the gaskets?!?! Betterthanyou told me they were made to the 3400 ports themselves.

In that case, they more than likely will go on the Firebird

The design started with the gaskets, and then the port size was increased until it was the circumference of a 1 5/8" (also did 1 3/4") primary pipe.

Well they are made to the gaskets in terms of location. But of course the ports are larger to accommodate a 1 5/8" tube If they were made to the port size then there would be no need for headers that small.

Keep in mind, my heads are ported but yah, they fit the 3400 exhaust gaskets very well. I didn't modify the flanges at all

              Whoa! $1200?! No thanks, I'm driving a V6 Camaro, not a Corvette.

You wont be able to put much heat into them anyway since the tube you will be using will be 14 to 18 gauge.
i'll be using weld-els.... you can get a lil more heat into them

how much would the round ports be? and could you do a set in 1/2" plate? if possible i would like a price on both
