IIRC the old 3.1 MPFI valve covers will fit... but you loose the oil fill cap and you have to fill the oil through the PCV hole or something like that... I think you also have to move your PCV vent....

I havent done this or looked into it but I know those you can make look pretty.

I wonder if it will clear the hard coolant line? I almost got a front one but figured the extra effort wasn't worth it. They might not clear the rockers either.

Should clear the rockers. Most clearance issues are with the lower intake.

It would look cool. Paint "Chevrolet" across the front one with a bowtie like my plenum.

something like that looks pretty as well. just dont use the hard line

the oil filler is an easy fix, cut a hole and make a plug for it. the pvc system works pretty easily if you heat the line and bend it.
                      got zap-straps?

i can get the valve covers polished and i could take a bung off either the gen 3 valve cover / gen 2 manifold OR come up with something else for filling the oil.

i dont know about fitting the stock rockers though, when i had the gold race rockers it fit just fine.

Superdave, that is exactly what I was going to duplicate with the 3500 plenum. The pace car engine. The 3500 plenum looks sorta like the one they have on there. But I didn't go with the gen2 cover so I just did the lettering on the plenum. Still turned out good.
