  • I'd just put some RTV over the connector exposed end and tape it up and stash it somewhere. That way if you ever want to use it you just peel it off. That will keep it water proofed.

Suddenly loosing that much oil though probably is too late that's probably why they did away with it. I don't think any of us on here are bad enough to never get the oil changed and have low oil level that way.. LOL. I have an oil pressure gauge on my cluster anyways that I always monitor. Once it went to 0 and I was like OH SHIT but then I realized the motor had died hahaha. Damn autozone crappy CPS!!

    • yeah right now is just hanging in the breeze under the car, and almost everytime I start it up, the light comes on. I was thinking about making a jumper cable to fix it. But ill read more in the manual about it and see what can be done.

          • Your TPS is a bit high at idle. Injectors seem to be held open longer, but really these slips don't tell much. It's much better to see things in real time or play back a log where you can see exactly what it's doing while driving not just a snap shot of idle. ScannerPro/TunerPro you can even set up graphs so you can watch RPM curve and fuel curves/etc.

            • With the OTC tool we have you can see what its going in real time when driving/through the RPM range.

We just scanned and printed those to kinda compare.

              • i had my TPS volts at 0.67 with the stock motor but that may be partly because of the 65mm TCE throttlbody. but i also had the idle turned down a bit too wouldnt even stay running with the cam.
Now with the cam its around 0.71 or the car surges and wont idle right.

                • Yeah but how big is the screen? LOL
I had a high TPS voltage once when I took the TPS off going between TB's. It actually gave me a high idle and I plugged in my laptop to see what the IAC was. IAC was fine so it wasn't a vacuum leak and I found out it was the tps. Took it off, re adjusted it and put it back on and it was fine after that.
