    Well another update. I picked up more parts for the engine, AC Delco o2 sensor, EGR tube, TCE EGR adapter.... etc etc. I just need a few more things from my 3100 motor and then Ill have everything.... getting ready to do the swap.

    Although question. Im pretty sure Ill have to buy a newer 3400 starter because of the flexplate having different # of teeth and such correct? I dont think I can use the 3100 starter at all?

      Throw some High compression pistons in so I wont be the only one running 11:5:1 on a 3400/ Looks very nice! Lucky POS got a low mil. engine that nice!!!

          You aren't the only one running high compression. Eric is running 12.4:1 in his 3400

            I know others swap the 3400 starter on to the older engines, so the teeth should be the same.

                    Thanks! Im hoping to get it in the car soon... but being cold out here and not having a heated garage kills me. Im shooting for like 2 months for the weather to be good enough.

                    • Plans as of right now are to swap it in the week of April 14th.

                      Since we just got another 5" of snow yesturday and it still freaking cold out!

                      • I was supposed to go to Schenectady this weekend but the snow screwed up my plans. I may be up in that area this upcoming Saturday night... going to visit a few friends. I could do that swap in about 5 hours... LOL I did one on my car 2 weeks ago.

                            • Motor goes in on Monday!

                              itll probably take me awhile since I wanna do some things at the same time of the swap. Like clean everything up, flush/replace the PS fluid since its BLACK, and whatever else it needs.
