WOOT, got it running about an hour and a half ago. I downloaded the BFAU bin from the site (thats the same bin actually in my ecm) and put all of the fueling, timing, and VE tables from the j-body bin that Dave sent me. I went out to the car, hooked the laptop up to the Ostrich, and uploaded my new BFAU bin. Put the key in the ignition and cranked it over. IT FIRED UP IMMEDIATELY, UNBELIEVEABLE! Wow, does it sound good even with no exhaust. After letting it run for about 10 min. at different rpm I decided to do a little test drive. The tune still needs a lot of work and it is a little rich but it is suprisingly close . I need to close my throttle plate a little and that should help it idle better. After having it running for about an hour and a few short drives I was thinking; hmm I wonder how this thing is going to get out of the hole? Well, I stopped and the gave the go pedal a little shove and whoa TORQUE. Only ran it up to not quite 4000 rpm, but man it was pulling. Went back later and it appears that a LSD is needed, BADLY!
I'll try to get a few installed pics up soon.
