    Yah, it's in limp mode...

re-upload the bin to the ostrich.. that might help.

also, the ostrich isn't plugged in backwards to the memcal is it?

.060 is what the gen3 3x00's use. So stick with that for starters. http://60degreev6.com/forum/f86/spar...003#post328559

Well, here is where I'm at. If I totally remove the Ostrich 2.0 and put the chip-set back in stock, the fan doesn't come on and everything appears nomal but of course it won't run my setup. TunerPro says that my bin. has been uploaded to the Ostrich and it says that it is emulating but the fan and CEL come on when the key is turned on which I believe that it is in limp mode. I have hooked the Ostrich up every way possible, with and without the socket booster, spacer, and hooked the cable directly to the memcal adapter. It doesn't seem to matter how I hook it up, it still isn't working! Anyone have any suggestions?

go to the Preferences menu, Emulation tab, and make sure all of the boxes are checked, including the "disable checksum" option.. try that

well, i enhanced the images a little but it looks like everything is hooked up right. I compared it to mine and it looks the same.

If you want, i can send you a socketed memcal to try out... that would eliminate the Moates adapter, maybe even a burnt chip of that tune to try and eliminate the Ostrich as the problem.

Sounds good Dave, I really appreciate all of the help that you have given me. I'll send you a PM with my address. I believe that the bin is uploading to the Ostrich but is not communicating with tha ECM. It could be becuase of a bad ribbon cable or a bad memcal adapter, I 'm not sure which it is yet. I want this thing running asap because it's killing me to have it done but not running. LOL

None of it is perfect, but I'm ok with that as long as it runs GOOD. Here is a pic of the Beretta high in the front end minus the engine. Plus a couple of pics of the wifes Lumina and my Corsica. Not the best pics cause they all need a bath.

I'll get better pics of everthing later and a sound clip of the Beretta when it actually runs. LOL
