This is the connector you are looking for:

It connects to the MAF like this:

And you can see from this pic its in the same factory loom as the IAT Sensor:

If it has been cut off you should be able to find the wires in the large loom that has the IAT wires in it as well.....hope this helps

Thanks I found out it was cut, ,so Im going to have to find a needle in a hay stak, and im going intercooled, Im getting a custom 1.75 or 1.5 pully made for more boost, so I want to go intercooled, mostly cause I saw a turbo grand am do it on GAGT,comand I want to too, but mines going to look al alot better

You'll pick up a lot more power being intercooled, and be safer. With the MAF in too you can get it tuned again and dialed in perfect for cruising and when wide open. Keep at it!

Yeah Im going to be putting down more psi so Im not worried about loosing any from i/c I will have enough anyways, I want to shift at 5900 at 20psi so whatever that is in pully size. I might even go with a 1 inch pully. What more than forged pistons and a built drive train will I need to handle that boost, Other than the tranny I know about that one already.

Ive got a set of GTP 36 pounders if you are interested(Bosch Type)......you will need at least that size.....but I really think you should baby step on the boost........you are talking about 20 pounds(which I think is dreaming with a V9) and you havnt even got the thing running clean at the boost you are developing now.................with the RSM/Z-spec shaft I doubt a 1" or 1.5" is possible...............2.5" barley fits....................keep it up.....get that MAF wired in and at least get a base tune before adding anymore boost.

I'll agree with that above statement...

Some people get into the boost world... It doesn't work quite right and then they go balistic and over do it which results in the whole thing blowing up in their face. Don't do that. Spend the time and money to get it running right the way it is, you may be impressed with HP numbers once its running properly. THEN increase boost if your still not happy.

seen as how you still have the wires it wont be hard to splice the connector back on.

Couldn't you tune with a IAT and 2 bar MAP system & leave out the maf? Not like you are going beyond 14.7 PSI right?

That works good for the OBD1 speed density systems, but since the OBDII is based on MAF it may not be so easy to edit it that way. However rickykline is running a MAF and a 2 BAR IIRC on his 96 Beretta.

True, but what about the 1988 Beretta with the MAF systems? Shouldn't those keep there maf if they go boosted also?

plus these grand am's dont like it when the maf is unhooked. mainly cause it goes to the max pressure on the trans and it slams into every gear, plus when you take it out of park into reverse or drive its like your nuetral dropping it.

Im running rich with 13psi on my 28# injecotors, I could sqeeze 3 more psi out of those injectors, but I do want 36 pounders.
I cant wait till I get my my MAF hooked up
I do want more boost for sure though, I will eventually get 20psi with a ls1 MAF and get it uned properly.
Not sure when I get the smaller pully but it will be cool when I do.
I'll be going to the 1/4 track soon so I will have some before and after 1/4 mile times with and with out the MAF see what kind of performance it adds.

I want to see pictures of this "smaller pulley".................Also I have a "BAD" feeling about your logic with wanting to get 1/4 mile track times without a MAF..........all I hear is ....tick....tick.....tick...................BOOM.. ...........Get those pictures of a 1.5 or 1" pulley posted as soona s you can BEFORE you go to the track please!
