  • MAF Conector..Where is it

    2001 grand AM GT
    Im trying to put my MAF back on I thaught I found the conector but I canot find it, are u sure I got the right MAF for my car Superdave

    Does anyone know where it comes out from so I can find it, I wasnt the one who disconected it so I wouldnt know

      The maf connector is in the same group of wires with the TPS, IAC, IAT, and EVAP connectors. It should be right near the throttle body.

              If they did you could get a new pig tail and pull back the harness until you found the wires. Then solder and heatshrink the pigtail back in.

              If it's the same connector as an LS1, then it would look like this. That site you can order pig tails too if it's the right one and you need it.

                I think the stock MAF has a 4 terminal plug, not a 5 terminal one.

                  It's probably wrapped up in a mountain of electrical tape somewhere to get it out of the way.

                        with all the other sensors hooked up you cant get more than 4 or so inches it cant be far.

                        if you can find the wires but no plug i can get you a plug real cheap. just pay shipping.

                            Can anyone with a V6 GRand Am here give me the number on the back of the MAF connector, maybe its connected wrong somewhere, if someone can please give me the # on the back of the connector I would really apreciate it so much

                              What do you mean connected wrong somewhere? You just gotta find where they put the pigtail or where they cut the wires.
