For the record, since no one has said it yet, the 3800 series and the 3100 have completely different histories and aren't even related. The 3800 is a 90 degree engine whereas the 3100 is a 60 degree. The 3800 was based off a V8 (essentially a V8 with two pistons chopped off), and the 3100 is in a series of V6s that were designed from the ground up. Not only will the bolts patterns more than likely be different, the intake manifolds and other items won't line up.

3.1 MPFI (GEN 2)
3100 SFI (GEN 3 version 1)
3100 SFI (GEN 3 version 2)
As you can see, they are not even really SIMILAR between the GEN 2 and GEN 3. The GEN 2 has a much larger upper intake manifold with long runners The GEN 3 has short runners, etc.Taylor

to put it simply, NO
just to list a few obvious reasons why it won't work and why that guy isnt exactly "high on life alone"
1. 3800 is a standard 90 degree v-6...
2. wont bolt up....plain and simple, the overall shape is completely different
3. yeah just a repeat....nothing will line up...NOTHING
this kids on crack lmao

im suprised noone has mentioned that the 660 heads (atleast in gen3 form) have much better flow characteristics than that of the 3800 heads...
one question though... wheres this kid live? please tell me its not around grove city or he didn't grow up there because if i know him im going to have to come home and kill someone... lol

Yeah, you mays well just weld them to the head when none of the holes line up, then put individual B&S lawnmower carbs on all the runnersVIDEO Acadian http://videos.streetfire.net/video/8...7f00197eea.htm
