No idea on the pressure.. but it's a single spring about the same height as the dual spring setup in the 2-3 accunulator. Pushing them down by palm on the bench I'd guess maybe 25% stiffer. The shift is a bit rude at 1/2 throttle.. I may take out a washer on the 1-2 accumulator. I'll post a pic in a bit.

I did the dual spring setup in my 1-2 along with the dual in the 2-3 with shims in that one. I am unsure if I used 1-2 as outer springs or 2-3 ones... I think the 2-3 outers are softer than the 1-2 single... so using a 1-2 outer and 2-3 inner would be pretty stiff... Plus shimming

I think I broke my 3-4 spring though... that shift was always rude at part throttle and that has recently disappeared quickly... not as if the clutches have gone out or anything, its just not as firm at part throttle anymore.

Either way I think I'm going to be buying a 99 trans, also gutting a 96 3.4L w-body one for its 3.06 FD ring and accompanying better designed low roller sprag, diff, and 33/37 chain so I can get a 3.43 FDR, with the option of throwing in my 3.33 quickly for a 3.73 FD That may become a 3.33 welded diff for those dragway visits.

I'm not sure, but I thought I read my '97 Lumina already has the 3.33 diff.. I might just need a chain and sprockets to get the lower gear ratio. You know the 3-4 accumulator is the pita one under the valve body... It'd be great if Quaife made a torsen diff for us.. be expensive, tho..
