I have a stock 99 buick century with a 3100 SFI with low miles that just blew a head gasket. now my question is can anyone let me know how i can squeeze out a few more HP out of the car since I will taking the heads off. i really wanted to upgrade to a higher-ratio rocker arm and maybe a cam if i can but will be happy if i can just get the rockers. can i even change to a high end rocker or no? i called jegs to see if they can help me but nothing came up on there computer can anyone point me in the right direction and or know what i can order who i can talk to or what to look for. whats the highest lift i can go or what kind or rocker should i get. HELP PLEASE

Unfortunately, there are really no aftermarket rockers in a higher ratio than you have stock (which is 1.6). There are some Harland Sharp 1.65 rockers, but for the price, the increase in lift you would get just wouldn't be worth the effort to get them to fit (ie, they aren't just bolt-on and go). Probably your best bet, since you will be pulling the heads, would be to go to a complete 3400 top end (or 00+ 3100). The heads have larger valves and the intake ports in the plenum and lower manifold are significantly larger than you already have. You could get a cam as well. Check out the link to the 60V6 store above and check out the 3100/3400/3500 section for some options.-Brad-

That link talks about the different rocker options, and also lists the HS rockers at $216 from Summit (for 16).
As far as a "kit" goes, what exactly are you looking for? Unfortunately for these engines, there really isn't a whole lot out there for support, so trying to find an actual "kit" for anything is nearly impossible. It usually ends up being some people do trial and error on products, and those that work get posted for other people's information/use. Probably not what you are looking for, but...-Brad-
