  • Where did they come from and where are they now

If anyone has flipped through the Chevy Power Manual you would have come across these different manifolds. I searched the web for them a few months back and searched again today but never got any luck. GM says they are available from several after market sources so what gives? Does anyone know where they came from and what happened to them?

This mechanical injection manifold looks like a Hilborn or Kinsler type system. Don't know where it actually came from I checked both sites.

This electronic injection fits on a Gen II bottom end. I sure it could easily be made to fit a Gen III manifold. Kinsler makes similar type systems I checked there but found nothing. I even checked the old catalog.

This simple adapter plate mounts 3 weber downdraft carbs on what looks like a gen I 3.4L Camaro bottom. This would look very sweet sitting atop a clean gen I motor. The MG conversion guys would love it.

WOW, I want one of those manifolds.. by the looks of it the gen III ones still accept the tripple Weber's/PMO's/Zeniths Ive wanted to do that for so long to a 3400/3500 manifold, I cant beleve its actualy not only been done but manufactured.. Im very intrested now, In finding out who made these.. might have to mail the authors of the book this was in..

It is possible. But there is only mention of the Chevy 4.3L on that site. But that site is pretty limited.
