ok i have a beretta with a 4T60E (trani code is 6wfw). i took the diff out of a 4T60E with the code 6afw. now i couldnt get the sun output gear out, how does it come out. im talking about the big gear that runs all the way around the edge of the trani and is stationary, and the four smaller gears ride in it, i think that is the sun output gear but im not sure if thats what its called.

Its called the Final Drive ring... and what exactly are you trying to accomplish here... this will only drop your ratio to 2.97 from 2.93...
A 6WFW is a 3.29 fine tooth diff, and a 6AFW is a 3.33 regular tooth diff...
Your gear ratio problem is your drive and driven gears.
And the only way to get that final drive ring out is to pull ALL the internals out of the transmsission and then remove the large C-clip from inside the tail shaft and then it slides out that way towards the side case, not out the diff side.
You should just take the AFW trans apart and take the drive and drive gears and use that in your car with its current diff.... You have a 37/33 combo now you want 35/35

ok i know there is a trani section it doesnt say anything about that gear.
