know, what's with that block? Where does it come from and is it available somewhere. It's the first time i have heard of the engine, so i wanted to know if i was the only one not aware of its existence ! ?

lots of people know about it. Prob everyone here. But I am sure that there are many people out there that don't know so don't feel bad.

I actually own one. I can post some nice pics if you like. kind of big though. hope that won't be a problem though

Its available from me if you have enough money. Still brand new. In original gm crate.

Shaun I'll have to keep you in mind since I am moving to Florida. At some point I wouldnt mind building a race motor with a bowtie block and find someone to start a race team with.

Damn, thats what I was afraid of. I was hoping that the caps were 2 step so that they could mount to the recessed portion in an iron block.

Brian, in order to get the billet steel caps to work with a iron block you would prob need to notch the caps. Should be too hard. I am sure a machine shop could do it or modify the block to get it to work.

It would cost a bit but should be possible. Just depends how bad you want 4 bolt mains

I like how you keep it in your living room. Now there's someone with his priorities in order. "Honey, would you move that damn credenza. I've got important things to keep in here!"
