Does anyone have pushrod measurements for a 3100 hybrid? Im using a '90 3.1 Turbo motor with flat tappet cam and it seems my pushrods are going to be about 1/4 inch longer than 3100 pushrods. My pushrod checker tool is too small for the intake pushrods so im stuck. So far i have 6.281 inches for the exhaust but would like to cross reference with someone whos been through this. I need to get as close to the thousandth possible so any help is much appreciated. Im tired of riding my bike to work!

I asked a similiar question about my 92 3.1. No turbo but I'm assuming it's the same thing. People have measured between 6.25 and 6.275 for exhaust, and 5.94-5.95 for intake.
Here's the thread:

My head aren't shaved either so I went with the same numbers, 5.95 and 6.26.
I'm not doing the swap till sometime next month so I haven't bought the gaskets yet, but, I think I read somewhere that there is a head gasket for the iron head 3.4 that can be used on the newer 3400 to raise compression a little bit. I am not 100% sure if it applies to us, so I am going to search around for it when I get a chance and if I don't find the post, I'll ask in another thread. I want to make sure the thinner head gasket won't cause a problem with the LIM being off, and not sealing right.
As far as the manifold gaskets go, I believe someone makes a metal gasket to address the problems with the leaking LIM gaskets on these engines. It might be fel-pro, I'm not sure, but I know I saw it on the autozone website. It's a bit more expensive, but worth the extra cash in the long run. That will probably be the gasket I go with for the manifolds.

really? 6.26 was too small? The highest measurement I saw from anyone on that was 6.275 on shaved heads, which was why I went with the 6.26 Oh well. Hopefully the 6.26's I bought will work out. I'll know in a couple of weeks.
As far as raising compression with the head gasket, I forgot your motor is turbo so nevermind on that.
