there wasn't any overlap though, i'm using those flanges and 3400 gaskets.
Pics of the poted 3500 heads? Do you have a place I can look at your pics. I am going to at least gasket match, but haven't even seen a pic of ported 3500 heads to use as a guide. I know how to smooth out the flow, but did you port the pockets? And I saw a pic of a modified chamber you did, were you trying to decrease compression, or just smoothing them out?

We haven't determined a definite price yet. The prototype set took so long that we could never sell them for what we would need to get to break even for parts, materials, and time. We hope to streamline things for the production sets, which will cut down on time and expense. We will be making "jigs" and "templates" to be able to repeat things more easily. If I were forced to pick a price now, I would say that it is going to be between $650 & $750 per set uncoated. I think that JetHot coating will add another $200 to the price. For those who don't want coating, we will paint them with high-temp paint to give some protection to the metal. Just ask those who had made their own. This isn't an easy process, and there are alot of materials needed to make them, flanges, u-bends, collectors, bolts, etc. That's not even figuring in labor. We aren't looking to make a killing on these, but we need to justify the hours it will take to build each set. Like I said, we should be getting into production on them within a few months if the prototypes work well on my car. I know that people will want to see what they look like and how they fit.

My site is currently down but here are a few pics..

3400 gasket on a 3500 head (un ported):

        and betterthanyou's 3400 D port flange on a ported 3500 head:

the chamber work i did on the heads i'm sure you saw was just a little re-shaping to attempt to help out the flow. I did simalar work to a pair of 2.8 heads. They look alot better in person than in pictures... I hate what a camera flash does to engine parts.. that's why i always turn mine off.

maybe i might just make my own flanges, is there any special steel i should use? rather than just cheap strap.
