^^^^^ haha my grand am barely wants to idle at 650 and its a stock motor. before i fixed the throttle blade that wasnt sealing it wouldnt even idle at anything below 800.
thats what the Z is for. now that the grandma runs right i can tune it. now that i have a job i can work on gettin the sweet cam then we will see who is faster.
I didn't expect dave's to run though (It may be easier for a SFI to idle that low too... plus I have that big ole converter spinning to keep it going.)
remember, mines a daily driver too... When it does retire of that then more will get done.

Yah, that should help.... Hows your do when it's in Drive though? I always had the problem with my cammed T/A where it would idle like 200 RPM lower in gear.. a higher stall converter seemed to help though.
WOW... i'm glad mine isn't that bad... Especially for my daily driver.
In gear it idles around the same. Both tables match for RPM so it trys to keep it at the same idle. With the compressor on it goes up about 150 rpm though.

Now that i think about it, most of the gen3's i've driven felt like they had a little higher stall to them, probably around 1500-2K so that may be why you aren't having trouble...
I want to hit the dyno first... and on the list right now is gas tank, with new walbro pump, fuel filter, and ballanced #28 injectors. Once I get all of that done, then do a mild tune I'll be going to the dyno... I hope for all of that to take place next week... Maybe not the dyno but the rest... Leaky gas tank FTL!
Next "scheduled" track visit is August 10-12 a Beretta get together in Ontario Canada. I may do a bonzi run to Epping before that though... I'm not sure.
