  • 95 3100 UIM/LIM on 3.1 MPI

First off i dont want any flames on this. Im only doing this cause i can get what i want for cheap. Im not concerend about the gen3 3100/3400 stuff yet, just this. I dont even have anything like that around where i am. So the 95 3100 is the next best thing i can do.

I want to put the upper and lower intakes from a 95 3100 onto my 3.1 mpi, and was curious if this can be done without swapping the heads? My motor only has 109k miles on it, so im not swapping out a good motor. i just want some more air flow into the engine.

Will the 95 3100 UIM and LIM fit the multi-port motor without any mods?

There are several things you have to modify to make it work, including PS lines and possibly pump, timing cover, heads...

if your going to do all that get the pre 2000 3400 top end or a 2000+ 3100 or 3400 top end... it will flow more.

The ports do not line up right, you will need the heads too, and you will have to re-route some wiring under the plenum.
          I modify stuff
