  • Adding my MAF or 1 BAr

Ok so I got my HPtuners VCM suite,Im RSM supercharged on my 3400 GA GT
I need and am going to put my MAF back in,
I confused, Do I just hook it up to the connector and then put it behing my Airfilter in front of my supercharger. Then my tuner software will pick it up in the program. Then I can edit my air/fuel more accurrately. Or what
Or do I need to program my MAF back in my ECU.
Or should I install a 1 bar map sensor. (Where and How can I get it if so)
Please hel , p i dont want to blow another engine. Thanks.

Hook up the maf and I would load up a stock program and ditch whatever RSM had done. Then tune from that but I have no specifics on what to change right away for boost.

Put the MAF after the BOV. Basically the MAF is the last thing before your throttle body.

You already have a 1 bar MAP sensor. Everyone has one. I don't know if you can edit in a 2bar... maybe..? But you should be able to tune for boost using the MAF values.

I believe we've answered this once before. MAF goes in the intake pipe before the Tb and behind the BOV. Load a stock program in the pcm and you are ready to go. Probably want to start out by changing the injector table for the 28# injectors or you'll be running rich at idle. As stated your stock MAP sensor is 1bar. HPT does not support switching to a 2bar or 3bar MAP, but you can tune for boost without it if you use the VE and MAF tables properly.
