  • Pistons Ordered.....What now

So I ordered my Pistons today.
Arias forged Pistons 9 to 1 compression
    I also got the stage 2 boost pulley from Z-Spec 12-15 Psi(expected)
I also received my hp tuners VCM Suite. I heard DHP isnt as good as Hp tuners software. So I went with HP tuners.

My question is what spark plugs do I use. Model & site would be nice.
I need to go 1 range colder from stock I heard.

And if I will be ok with my compression at 9 to 1
    ??????
    I hope so

9:1 should be fine if you copied your stock pistons and added more dish.

You heard wrong. HPT has a totally messed up way of tuning the VE table. It's a much more complicated and roundabout process. DHP is easier to tune with and has a better support community for v6 tuners IMO. Too late now.

NGK TR6 plugs would work. 9:1 compression will be fine too. You didn't really need to lower the comp with only 12psi, but it won't lose too much bottom end and will leave you room to make more power later.

DHP and HPT is personal preference. I like DHP and it’s simple to use if you ask me. Plus HPT doesn’t support my car, but their gauge displays are fancier... Makes you wonder if they spent more time working on the visual appearance of the program rather than the content or ease of use.

DHP has its down side too... Program updates and fixes are extremely slow because its run by one person. I wish he would take on extra help so he could better serve his customers.

The community for DHP is large and has a very informative message board that is filtered of only DHP customers so there is no crap on the board.
