  • looking for methanol compatable injectors

hey guys ive been searching around for injectors for my motor,so far ive only come up with msd competition injectors that work with methanol, but the only high impedance ones i can find are 50#'ers, well they just aint gonna cut it.
what im looking for is more around 70#'ers + even at 70pph id have to run crazy fuel pressures to make them flow enough.
alky requires just about 2x the volume as gas

do any of u guys know who makes, possible were i can find methanol compatible injectors, im looking for bosch/multec sized ones since this is what my intake manifold was built around, and i cant fit the later taller injectors into the manifold without raising the plenum up, which im really trying to avoid cause id have to ditch the 4 inch cowl for a 6 inch cowl hood

thnx man but i came up with some 120# injectors that work with methanol, though they are low impedance so ill have some mods to do to my megasquirt to use them.heh i better recalculate my fueling requirements for one pass, i only have a 2gallon tank for the car lol.

fuel injectors down now i need a suitable fuel pump

what version of the megasquirt board do you have??? if its a 3.0 board (aposed to the 2.2) you already have the flyback circuit for low impediance injectors. another thing you may want to consider (depending on the version of megasquirt) is running 2 sets of injectors and running kurt staging (this has one set on all the time and another set come on when you select). this will greatly help idle quality and tunability.

as far as a fuel pump, look to the areomotive 1000 and 2000 pumps.

niether of those pumps will supply enough pressure, there belt driven pumps are more along the lines of what i need

this is more or less my what im looking at running
