At the risk of sounding like a complete moron [don't know anything about the 3500]can the 3500 pistons be used in a 3.4 ironblock.

Only if you overbore it. You asked the question suggesting you don't know, you shouldn't be penilized for that or made to sound like a moron. All of the non VVT non DOHC 60 degree V6 engines 3.5 down to 3.1 have the same stroke and differ by bore size.

Wrist pin hight has been moved up, according to Whitelighting, also teh longer rod would indicate this to be as well, 5.9" to 5.7" The big end is larger but I don't believe the center point offset would be .2". But that will need to be verified, I don't recall how much larger the rod journals are in the 3500.Last edited by Guest; 04-08-2007, 11:33 AM.
