I have a 3.2 iron block and plan on mating AL heads to this block.

(I have posted another thread kinda related but can't find it.)

When you put the AL heads on an iron block do you NEED to change anything in the ecu? I have read somewhere that you need to change the timing from like 60 dgrees to 30?

I'm also curios, even though my car will be using MegaSquirt once swap is finished.

Are you going to use the FWD pistons to go with those heads?

I am using my stock iron 3.1 bottom end from a Lumina APV...why?

I just want to know if I need to make any ECU changes once I am done.

if you are using the iron head pistons.........i hope you like compression

yeah I do its only 11.3 which is like 10.3 with iron heads not much over a stock 3.4

Compression is the reason I was asking. I plan on using RWD pistons and FWD heads on my next build, hoping to get close to 10.5:1 and boost it.
